The verdict
The 2025 Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Preferred AWD is listed at $24,998 with 39,430 miles. The Caboose score is 7.6 out of 10, built from three things: how far below market the price sits, how much of the 200,000-mile target is still ahead of the odometer, and how often this model reaches 250,000 miles in the iSeeCars study (6.8% of Mazda CX-5s do).
The asking price is $1,400 (5.3%) under the CarGurus expected price of $26,398, which is a real discount rather than a rounding gap. That puts it in the middle of the pack, so treat it as a candidate to compare rather than a car to rush.
