The 2021 RAM 2500 is not on our list of model years with a widely reported mechanical or electrical problem. That is a point in its favour, not a clean bill of health — this car's own history still matters, so check the VIN report and get it inspected.

The verdict
The 2021 RAM 2500 Tradesman Crew Cab 4WD is listed at $25,594 with 103,425 miles. The Caboose score is 7.8 out of 10, built from three things: how far below market the price sits, how much of the 200,000-mile target is still ahead of the odometer, and how often this model reaches 250,000 miles in the iSeeCars study (14.3% of Ram 2500s do).
The asking price is $2,077 (7.5%) under the CarGurus expected price of $27,671, which is a real discount rather than a rounding gap. That puts it in the middle of the pack, so treat it as a candidate to compare rather than a car to rush.
