Mile ratingKnown issues to check on the 2019 Lexus RX
One widely reported problem pattern applies to this model year. That does not mean this car has the fault — many were fixed under warranty or recall — but it is what to check, and what to ask the seller for, before you buy.
- Low-pressure fuel pumpWorth checking
A very large recall covers a Denso low-pressure fuel pump that can fail and stall the engine while driving.
What to check: Run the VIN through the manufacturer's recall lookup and confirm the fuel pump recall has been completed. It is a free fix, but it has to have been done.
Patterns are drawn from NHTSA recalls and complaints, manufacturer service bulletins and consistent owner reporting. Always confirm open recalls against the VIN and get an independent pre-purchase inspection.

The verdict
The 2019 Lexus RX 350 FWD is listed at $20,049 with 132,977 miles. The Caboose score is 7.7 out of 10, built from three things: how far below market the price sits, how much of the 200,000-mile target is still ahead of the odometer, and how often this model reaches 250,000 miles in the iSeeCars study (12.8% of Lexus RXs do).
The asking price is $1,852 (8.5%) under the CarGurus expected price of $21,901, which is a real discount rather than a rounding gap. That puts it in the middle of the pack, so treat it as a candidate to compare rather than a car to rush.
