Mile ratingNo known defect pattern for this model year
The 2017 Toyota Tacoma is not on our list of model years with a widely reported mechanical or electrical problem. That is a point in its favour, not a clean bill of health — this car's own history still matters, so check the VIN report and get it inspected.

The verdict
The 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road V6 Double Cab LB 4WD is listed at $25,730 with 111,184 miles. The Caboose score is 8.5 out of 10, built from three things: how far below market the price sits, how much of the 200,000-mile target is still ahead of the odometer, and how often this model reaches 250,000 miles in the iSeeCars study (25% of Toyota Tacomas do).
The asking price is $1,220 (4.5%) under the CarGurus expected price of $26,950, which is a real discount rather than a rounding gap. That puts it in the top group of cars on this site, so it is worth a same-week inspection before someone else books one.
