Mile ratingNo known defect pattern for this model year
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma is not on our list of model years with a widely reported mechanical or electrical problem. That is a point in its favour, not a clean bill of health — this car's own history still matters, so check the VIN report and get it inspected.

The verdict
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab V6 TRD Sport 4WD is listed at $23,599 with 104,974 miles. The Caboose score is 9.1 out of 10, built from three things: how far below market the price sits, how much of the 200,000-mile target is still ahead of the odometer, and how often this model reaches 250,000 miles in the iSeeCars study (25% of Toyota Tacomas do).
The asking price is $1,573 (6.2%) under the CarGurus expected price of $25,172, which is a real discount rather than a rounding gap. That puts it in the top group of cars on this site, so it is worth a same-week inspection before someone else books one.
